I have an extra copy Humble Indie Bundle: All-Stars (Above Average + 1$), And I really want to give away it.
As there is no such game in gamelist I created ticket, but did not receive any response for a month. Ок. I create another one aaaaand got the same.
As a result I waiting for any reaction for two month.

Creating another ticket for the same problem will just add to the backlog.

Tickets take time to answer, be patient. They are not ignoring you.

What game was it you were trying to give away? Perhaps it's on the given away at some time for free list?

Unfortunately your ticket is probably buried under hundreds of "why i cant make giveaway of insert random free game here plz add to list".
Making a new ticket isn't a good idea, you should only have one ticket open and bump it by commenting on it

You can always make separated GAs for each of the games that were on that bundle.

Yet another reason why more staff is desperately needed here. Two months is way too long to wait for a response. I seriously doubt that there is a flood of "Add Game to List" requests since it's automated for the most part.

Each game has its own key. It's not just one key for the whole bundle. You can make separate giveaways for each game in the bundle or wait until someone gets to your ticket.

A) "Add Game to List" requests are not automated in any way

B) Requests like this are often "ignored" because there is no way for us to add custom games/packs to the list at this time. It has to be something that has a subID/appID at a minimum. There's the possibility of the admin creating a tool for us for custom entries in the future, so the request is left open.

There are 210 tickets in that particular queue, FWIW.

Not the requests, the game adding itself. To put it differently, they meant that because games are usually added automatically there shouldn't be a large volume of requests.

Yes, this is exactly what I meant.

I thought it was possible since giveaways for some bundles can be created, but I guess it is because these bundles come as a single key ?

The admin can manually create those, but he hasn't for quite some time. Moderators can only allow/disallow subID/appID from the Steam API.

I'm more curious to know how old the oldest one in the queue is and why it's been there for that long. I am an admin on two different gaming forums/websites and they both have way more staff than SG does and issues with support requests not being addressed are almost non-existent. They have far less members too so wouldn't it make sense to add more staff to alleviate these issues? Looking at my admin panel for one of the sites (which had a peak hour yesterday of 47,638 concurrent users) I see a total of 12 support tickets with the oldest one being only 11 days old and that's only because no one has been able to contact the person that submitted it.

Not to beat a dead horse but if I spent a few hours digging through these discussion threads I can find literally hundreds of comments about there not being enough staff to run this place - including comments from some of the staff themselves. With all of the work that was put into the redesign one would think that the staffing issue would have been addressed during that time too. I've been here for over two years and have heard complaints about it since day one and have seen very little improvement.

Is there some sort of secret society involved that prevents the adding of more staff? Many have volunteered, including some very helpful and supportive members who have been here for a long time. I don't understand why people who are willing to volunteer and do something for free are being ignored when there's so many unanswered tickets and obviously not enough people to take care of them.

Why is there an "Add Game to List" option if there's if there's no way to add custom games/packs without an Admin (who isn't around) to do so? Giving the user base false hopes by offering a service that can't even be done or the only person who can do it is hardly ever around makes no sense.

What you say sounds reasonable but it's not quite that easy. The impression I've always gotten is that cg is a bit hesitant to trust people to be mods in general, I believe the new system in place allows new mods to come on in (i hate to use the word trial but I will) a trial capacity, where they are limited on what they can do but they can still help out. Since then there have been a fair number of mods added (albeit in (i believe) one group). I'm not saying that's enough but I do believe it's a good change and hopefully it continues. Just because someone volunteers to be a mod doesn't mean that they should.

Mods need to be solely objective (or as objective as they can be, I should say) among other things. This site has already suffered from having some mods that were a bit too subjective / let their feelings/personal views get in the way of being a fair and objective mod.

My tickets are 3 months old already and not responded to yet. Long time ago when I had to use support, it worked fine, now it's not.

this hb?

why don't you create a giveaway for each game instead?
i know it should be added to the list though, but if support is swamped with tickets, better look for alternatives.

once I won a key for braid and it comes with two more games... I think some bundles brings just one key to several games...

oh well, that would complicate things.

Yeah it's rare but some bundles come in as single key, what you got was an old Humble Indie Bundle.
That was also like this for the recent Borderlands bundle, there was one single key for the $1 tier, one key for the BTA tier, ...

If a key comes with multiple games, you can list it under any of the games the key activates. Just mention in the description that the winner will get a bonus.

Not to be a pain, but then wouldn't the user still not get the correct CV?

no they would only be getting the CV for the one game they listed the giveaway under.

Well if you choose the most expensive game in the bundle, you'd probably get more CV than if there was a bundle option.

Ah but if it's been bundled, they are still only getting 15% of the most expensive, instead of 15% of all of them, no?

Remove CV and I guarantee more than half of all incoming tickets would disappear :p

To be replaced by another tide where people complain that their hard earned CV is gone and they want compensation. There is no pleasing here.
