So what do you guys think of Age of Mythology Extended?

It's currently on sale as a Community Choice -40% off

I wonder if any of you guys bought it, and if so did you regret doing so.

This game seems really interesting and I absolutely loved the Age of Empires series, and I'm a sucker for historical (and mythical) strategy games. The screenshots and trailer looks pretty good too, I'm just a bit put off by the pricetag.

If you like strategy games you'll love it. I even don't play them usually but loved AoE 2

It's also barely a month and a half old. As the extended edition is a complete graphics overhaul and engine fix, I think it's a little early for anything more than 40%.

Then I'll wait. If I had waited for AOE 2 sale, I would have gotten it for $2.49 with expansion. Mine was bought soon after release.

it's a great game. i have played the old versions and it was awsome.
even though, i don't think it's worth 17€

AoE2 und Mythology were the greatest games of the whole series even until today. I played both when I was young and it is good to see that they are HD now. I hated all other AoE games but AoE2 and mythology are super awesome.

I've played hours and hours of the original AoM when I was younger and I will definitely buy the new version today. This game is sooo much fun and the best "Age of.." game in my opinion.
