BioShock, BioShock 2, Borderlands, Dead Space, DMC 3, DMC 4, Overlord. These are nice games. The choice is yours :) If you ask me, it's Dead Space Pack ;)

BioShock made gameplay revolution. BioShock 2 didn't have that effect. However they are both very good games. It is just 1st older, 2nd newer.

Unfortunately, that will always be the problem with sequels. The better the first game is, and the more different it is from other games out there at the time, the harder it is get get the sequel viewed as highly. But they are definitely both amazing and I can't wait for BioShock Infinite.
As for gifts, I'm hoping to see some Killing Floor, FEAR, Left 4 Dead and Dead Space giveaways.
P.S. Anybody else think it's weird that Dead Rising isn't on sale?

Might I suggest Nation Red? It's a fun, cheap game. I already have it, but it's a nice game for those who don't and you would be helping the developers, who have continuously enhanced the game for no additional cost.

Don't forget some deals are hidden. Double check if you are looking for bundles or DLC in addition to a game.
For example:
Borderlands: Shown for $4.99 but what they don't mention is that you can get Borderlands GOTY edition (all DLC) for $7.49 or 4 for $22.49
Left for Dead (1 & 2): Shown for $6.79 each, but what they don't mention is that you can get the bundle for $10.19

I'm disappointed in how Steam is doing so many 66% off discounts instead of 75% lately. Anyway else feel like Steam is slowly discounting less and less as time pass?
I will probably buy Nation Red to gift, though. I was already planning to do a giveaway of it because the devs deserve the support.

Well, Halloween isn't exactly considered as a holiday to spend money typically. Be glad that they are even doing a sale for it. As for discounts decreasing, have you seen the big holidays (summer/Christmas) when they have the company packs on sale? Those are typically 80-90% off, bringing things that are a few hundred dollars down to roughly $50-$90 depending on the pack.

Hmm, maybe it's my perception then, I took another look at the sale and there's actually quite a few deals that are 75% off (and some great deals, like Amnesia). It's just that the ones that interest me (L4D 2, Killing Floor, Nation Red) aren't. But those are also some of the most popular, and I remember how in the summer camp Terraria was sold at 75% initially but the discount was supposed to be 50%. But even if the amount of crazy deals were reducing, I guess the competition between Origin, Desura, etc wouldn't let Steam get too comfortable.

MMmmmmmMMmm... I LOVE Steam sales... Got myself Dead Space pack, both Bioshocks, Painkiller complete and... Plants vs. Zombies GOTY and... Cthulhu Saves the World & Breath of Death VII Double Pack. Looks like it`ll be a nice holiday )

Steam sales are incredible.
Some time ago I got Mass Effect 1 and 2 for 20 dollars. And now I was able to trade a couple TF2 hats for Bioshock because of it's 75% discount.
I suggest Dead Space Pack giveaways. Those games are bloody brilliant.
