In the case of a private giveaway, where the winner did not say thanks. Is that a valid reason for a reroll ?

Just asking...

What's so funny ? I've seen creators of private GAs come up with weird rules like "say thanks or I reroll" or "say anything BUT thanks or I reroll" so I'd like to know if it is serious.

Yes, I think it is okay. You can establish rules on private giveaways, last time I checked.

you can think of a lot of weird rules and if support is okay with them, then you can demand them in your private giveaway :)

so I guess if the creator of the GA I won did not mention it he cannot suddenly decide to add that rule afterwards ?

Oh yeah, you need to ask Support for approval of your giveaway rules.

I think only if you make it part of the rules of your giveaway before hand. Not 100% on this though.

Nah, it shouldn't be. But there is a common special rule that every entry should comment on the giveaway. So next time you do a private giveaway, you can ask support to approve this rule for your use.

If you had rules saying that the winner must comment, then yes.

Unless you have it approved and stated at the beginning of the giveaway, no.

But even then, no.
