Just finished it, quite enjoyable but the ending is a little weird (but supposedly explains 'something' from Chapter 6) and the spike maze is.. not so much fun. But I'm glad to have played through this.

Anyone who enjoyed the main game should.

He wanted to add a jetpack to his brainchild, for which I have respect. But I could not see any other point to this update. Yes, the music and the voice acting was superb as usual, but the level designs seemed haphazard to me.

Is it supposed to be an added challenge for loyal players? Then why are most levels tutorial-difficulty, point-a-to-b affairs?
Is it supposed to be about the backstory? Then what's the deal with supra-hard VVVVVV spike mazes?

Pacing and difficulty curves, yo.
