nah it was too much of an rpg than the classic zelda gameplay. Which doesn't mean that it sucked. it was a good game but in fact not really a zelda game!

This is such a painful question. I dint think there really is a best game ever and there are so many games that feel wonderful no matter how many times I play them. For this question, I would have to say Super Mario World.

Oh god, i don't even know if I can share a favorite game. One day it's one, while another day a different one become my favorite. Right now i'm enjoying Sam & Max Hit the Road (by LucasArts)

Make sure to play Grim Fandango and the Monkey Island series. They're similar (and by the same creator, Tim Schafer) but I prefer them.

Will do. I have played the Monkey Island Series. However, unfortunately I haven't touched Grim Fandango yet. I have heard many great things about that game. So, I will definitely be playing it sometime soon.

For playing Grim Fandango on a modern machine, you'll need to follow these instructions: http://grimfandangodeluxe.blogspot.com/2012/01/running-grim-fandango-on-modern.html

It won't work otherwise.

Scummvm is really nice for playing almost any other old adventure game, like Sam and Max.
