Heroes of Newerth gone free to play

Awesome, I loved Heroes of Newerth when playing in the beta.

I want a legacy account, though. I was always on the fence but never had the money at the time of the sales. ;-;

Hope HoN enjoys a broader audience! Maybe all the squabbling between LoL/HoN will stop.

What does paying customers get over non?

HoN sucks anyway, more that LoL. It have the worst community I have ever seen in my entire life.

Even though i really liked HoN in the beta, the community and the price kept me from buying it. So i tried LoL when HoN went live and hell, i enjoyed it alot more.

well that sucks.... At least I got a legacy account of ebay last month with a crapton of gold on it, so I guess these accounts will be worth quite a fortune soon =)

I loved playing HoN in beta, but couldn't buy it actually came out, so I went to LoL from there. I like both of them fairly equally, but the main downside that HoN has to LoL is the poor community in HoN, where if you don't have a 100% understanding of the game then people don't want you playing actual matches. So you go to a "Noobs Only" practice match, and it's just somebody and their friends who set up new accounts to crush new players trying to learn the game. With LoL, if you're not that good at least you can go do a bot match to get some practice in.
