When we started this game we always wanted it to be on the low end. Also we are a pretty new studio and relatively unknown so we're not going to ask for more than that.

If you were a master at the game and were really lucky with the drops you could beat the game in around an hour, hour and a half. BUT since it is a roguelike we have tons of unlockable content for you to find. This includes characters, abilities, bosses, special events, plenty of other stuff. The environment changes every time you play as well so you'll never see the same map twice.

As soon as we get greenlit we will be integrating all of the steam features; trading cards, achievements, etc.

If we do make new content for Ascendant (e.g. DLC) we will probably not charge for it. There are a few things that we want to have in the game that we just can't right now. Anything new would probably just be included in a patch or update. That is very far in the future though so things could change.

I'm asking because a lot of developers just change the currency symbol and think that would be fine but for people in Europe it often means that games are more expensive. If you actually use the correct exchange rate for 10 USD I'm totally fine with that :)

The game is currently in closed beta. However, we will be doing beta key giveaways starting tomorrow. You can join our Steam Group to get updated on when we launch it. The entry for the giveaway will be a similar puzzle like this one but we'll be taking in more winners.
