About as much as I hate that fact, steam support sends out automated messages. After contacting them for a longer period of time, they are still unable to fix my issue with steam crashing on download. Everytime I contact them it's the same thing, refresh your steam files blah blah. I understand they are busy people, however its ridiculous that you have to wait up to a month for them to reply. I suppose its because many people desire support.

they've deleted "Left 4 Dead" and "Left 4 Dead 2" from my library after less than 4 days of waiting without any hesitation. (it was during quakecon)
it highly depends on how much and which kind of information you give the support...i don't know what your post was, so i can't really tell.
i'm in a steam group, that has the goal to "uncut" all censored games in regions, where such games are being censored, and no one there ever had a problem with deleting games from their library.(it usually takes 2 days)
it's really important for you, to 1; give them proof that you're actually the owner of the said account and 2; to clearly renounce yourself from any kind of refund and 3; an understanable reason.
the support recently resetted my little brother's steam account's password totally unclomplicated after 2 days, without knowing the secret questions. it all came down to the amount and kind of information given, such as photographed keys from physical game copies activated through steam, in that specific case.

I gave them my german version's CD key, Humble bundle CD Key, account name, That I want to delete it from my library and stuff. I contacted Origin support like 3-4 times already they fixed my problem in minutes, But I just can't fix my issues when I have to contact Steam support

So 1 month ago I wrote them about my Saints row 2, I bought it from a German store so it was cut version or how it's called, I told them that I want my SR2 deleted from my library because I bought the humble bundle and it gives an english version... and after 1 month of waiting, what the hell they told me?
