Are Amazon steam games region restricted ?

I read something about it on chat, but no one was sure about it. Are the game keys from Amazon restricted to US steam accounts or not ? Would appreciate if someone who knew for certain would share some light on the topic.

Shogun 2 isn't restricted, so Collection also shouldn't be.

All of the keys I've purchased thus far have not been region locked. But this is also partly because I research before buying.
Except that one time where I bought a game thinking it was for steam and it wasn't. :P
But, yeah, the majority shouldn't be restricted. Search google for 'gamename amazon steam region' or something similar, and see what you can find.
