Have you had a really old support ticket answered recently?
I had a 7 month old (the oldest) answered from a new support member. Bad was that it was not a important one and i forgot to cancel it (i cancelled other tickets but overseen this one).
But anyways it was a nice surprise and show me that it go down with the ticketnumbers (and that "soon" more "important" tickets from me will be solved too :o)).
Thanks to the new support members that they bring POWER and spend, a part of, there time for us :-D

Yeah I had an old one too just answered about a dlc I have been trying to give away but no one can see the giveaways (Serious Sam HD; The Second Encounter Legend of the Beast DLC if you are curious) and they said they will put it on the list to be fixed. I just assumed this dlc would sit in my steam inventory forever, maybe someday I will actually be able to give it out now.

When the new support was appointed we had
over 17.600 User reports open and
~3.000 in the other categories combined .
Now we are at
16.800 User reports and
2.000 in the other categories combined .
-1.800 looks like a lot of work in 8 days....considering there are still more than enough opened daily.^^

Oh, they've been getting answered, but so far I'm not exactly impressed by the level of effort that has been put into the replies. :P

I had a ticket I forgot about answered after 21 months by one of the new support people. It wasn't super important and I assume it would have escalated if it was. Was just funny to me that a ticket that old got answered. Yay for new support, and good luck with the backlog.
