Congratulations to both artists--they both look really nice! I personally prefer the pencil drawing (#2), in part because I know first-hand how hard those are to draw and make look good. I am seriously impressed. Truly WOW levels or impressed.

There are some good aspects of #2 and it looks like a lot more effort was put into it, but it looks a little too dark and dreary. The colorfulness of #1 seems more Christmassy.
