I really don't understand the drama that goes with lists. But it seems to be a common enough thing.

Well, I'm not overly dramatic. People delist or blacklist you for random reasons every time, and I don't really care about it nowadays.
It's just the first time something like this happened to me. Like, come on, couldn't they have kicked me at least on the next day or something? Not immediately after joining my group? (It's not like they had any giveaways going on anyway)

I'm with you on that. Everyone is free to use the WL and BL features however they like, or not at all. There are no established rules, guidelines, or etiqueete, except what people have made up for themselves.
It might be hard not to take it personally when blacklisted or de-whitelisted, but that's something we have no control over and therefore not worth worrying about. Peace and happiness!

Hm, they will do giveaways for other people anyway, so, it's not like they will keep the keys for themselves. It's more like: "Well, I've got access to most giveaways. But not to 100% of giveaways, as I wanted. So, I will remove him from my WL because of that". So, it doesn't look like greed. Greedy people don't do giveaways at all, while this person has a positive CV/RV ratio. We have the word "мелочный" to describe that kind of attitude, but I'm not 100% sure that "petty" has exactly the same meaning in this context.

Yeah, definitely falls in the "dick move" category. It shows that their WL wasn't from a genuine place of wanting to include you in their giveaways. They wanted to reciprocate WLs or gain access to your giveaways, which they did, partly.
It's possible that they were "offended" that you didn't consider them worthy enough to WL and that's why they promptly kicked you from theirs. Who knows? Best not to waste time thinking about it.

they can easily be kicked from the groups to if OP desires, even if they never sync until forced mods will approve rerolls if you can prove they were not in the group at the time of winning a GA

Nah, I won't bother mods with re-rolls because of it. Especially, considering that those giveaways were mostly for cheap games with reduced value, not some 70$ AAAA-title. But thanks for the info, may come in handy at some point 👍

Its not a trade and none should enforce you to whitelist them back, but neither they have any reason to keep you in permanently. If you haven't been entering these giveaways, maybe getting active member for your groups will be a small win anyway.

Well, fair. Nah, those groups are for my giveaways. There are no rules for obligatory giveaways or keeping the given/received ratio. It's just like an extended version of my whitelist

Because the tab with their giveaway was open (I've posted a comment with the group invitation there), and when I refreshed all the tabs — the giveaway became inaccessible. As I've said before, I don't track whitelists, and if they didn't kick me immediately after joining my group and giveaways, I wouldn't notice it.

Lol, assumed the worst about me, turned out to be wrong, deleted the comments, and blacklisted me. Well, I guess there will be more space in my whitelist then. Why delete comments, though? I wouldn't have blacklisted you back or something

Happens. I was gone over 4 years. And had a clean record before being absent. Still do. So was surprised to see someone doing a slew of GAs and seeing myself blacklisted. Was never rude to anyone maintained 1:1 ratio, had run my own GA groups, had maintained record in previous groups before leaving. Always thanked on winning, and had no idea why he did that. I asked politely on his thread no reply. Fair enough I blacklisted him not that it mattered. All kinds exist. Stop trying to make sense of these things blacklist such nonsense people.

Blacklists are a whole other thing. Said something someone didn't like – got blacklisted. Gave away the game someone didn't like – blacklisted. Living in the wrong country – blacklisted. Given away too many region-locked keys and gifts – blacklisted. Too many private giveaways? Blacklisted. Stopped doing giveaways for 10 months, because of financial problems and unavailability of bundles in your country – yeah, blacklisted. Said thank you while entering the giveaway – blacklisted for being annoying. Didn't say thank you upon entering – blacklisted for being ungrateful. Haven't played the game you won – blacklisted, despite they haven't stated that playing in a specific period is expected. Haven't added someone to your whitelist after they've added you – blacklisted. Denied request to join your group – blacklisted. Given away too many games with reduced value — blacklisted. Given away too many games with full value — also blacklisted😅

I don't understand why you think they did all this just to enter one group, It could be, but who knows.
I personally don't care about Wl and Bls. It's imposible to know real reasons.

I have entered your WL ga before, and you were in my wl, but I did an event last month about Wl, and make a mess there between new people wishlisted and the ones that were there before, Didn't have time to see my previous list before event to restore it and come back to how it was. So I have a lot in the same situation than you. I just need some free time, to see both txts of users

Oh, thank you then!) Still, no hard feelings if you decide to remove me. My WL is a mess too. I add people for random reasons, mostly permanent, some for a time. Then I forget to write down the reason I added them or to remove those who were added for a time, not to mention all those users who like to change their usernames and avatars often, and I don't have a clue who they are😅 I try to remove some people who got banned or wasn't active for a long time to keep my WL slightly below 300 people, but I think I will completely give up on tracking it sooner or later.

Yeah, its pretty sad, i never expected to be whitelisted back from people i whitelist, everyone have their reason, just like blacklist haha
i don't usually tell people they are whitelisted, but for context i think its okay. for example you are on my whitelist, its likely you never knew it, and i don't remember doing it so idk my reason at the time. so i'm not gonna expect anything...
well at least you didn't had my heartbreak moment of finding out i was blacklisted from someone i had whitelisted 😭💔
i was petty to remove them from my whitelist... but i think my case is a bit understandable XD

Wow i'm sorry the blacklisted thing happened to you even more, i know it sucked for me... i know i shouldn't let these things affect us, and for the most part its just a little annoyance in our day... but still, it just sucks

I don't even notice when I'm on a whitelist. Or a blacklist.
Not that it really matters, I haven't entered a giveaway for over 18 months, and my last win was over two years ago. Which is fun for my stats page. :P

I've noticed that one user added me to their whitelist. I congratulated them on their birthday, and I haven't entered their whitelist-only giveaway.
I don't usually "exchange" or "trade" whitelists. I add people to my WL due to different (usually random) reasons, not expecting to be whitelisted back. And I don't usually enter WL-only giveaways of people I haven't added to my WL. In rare cases, I do enter — I usually consider myself obligated to add this person to the WL in case I win something curious
As a polite gesture, I offered this user to join any of my groups instead, allowing them to enter most of my private giveaways.
They've accepted my invitation and joined the group. And entered a few closed giveaways of mine. And immediately removed me from their whitelist ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I'm a bit puzzled. I don't really care about winning a lot of games these days. Nor do I specifically track who deleted me from their lists. But the speed of getting kicked from the list while continuing to enter my giveaways was stuggering.
