Teens react to NES...

The kids in that video had no idea what The Legend of Zelda was. Zelda is still around ffs. On the Wii of all platforms... the most accessible, casual friendly console in recent memory.

I find it really great that the people who make these originally put adverts on their Newtown Shooting reaction video. I guess money is more important than the dignity of children who got shot to death though.

I have to admit, it wasn't as bad as the Game Boy one. Then again, that one maked me want to PUNCH KIDS IN THE FACE so yeah.

Also..."I have a case like that for my iPhone"...she gets better though.

Honestly, I really like most of the React videos. I especially like the little kids and old technology, the little kids and food, and the older generation and new technology. This one wasn't the best of the React episodes I've ever seen, but it was far from the worst one.

Well, if you look at it, wait another 20 years, and that generation will have a hard time using an Xbox.

I don't find it that weird. I'm 22, I've started playing video games back in 1998 with Spyro on the PS1 and Pokemon Blue on the Game Boy Color. I probably wouldn't know about the NES either if I weren't interested in gaming history and didn't read gaming magazines, since almost no one I knew played video games back then. o.o;

Would love to see them react to Atari 2600 and Colecovision.

Probably the same way most people my age would react to an 8-track tape player, or the prospect of a quick round of "hide the saveloy" with Zsa Zsa Gabor.

They wouldn't upload these videos if the reactions would be normal or expected. I don't know much about this series, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of it is scripted, so there's no need the get your panties in a twist because of this.

I still have my old "unlicensed version of NES called Terminator, which used yellow chinese cartridges" at the bottom of my wardrobe closet. Even have some cartridges left, like Blades of Steel, Goal 3, Rescue rangers 1 and 2, Duck Tales, Jungle Book, ...

Works fine, I tested it couple of years ago when some friends from University visited.

You can tell none of them are gamers... My first console was a Sega Genesis, which is a bit newer than the NES, but still, I at least TRIED the NES as well as a lot of old consoles and I know about them and how they work, despite being 18 years old... It just happens that the teens they chose for this basically don't know sh*t about any video games consoles that came out before 2000 because they're not interested in video games. It still made me laugh that they looked so clueless, though.

This made me find out who Maisie Williams was, because she was adorable in this video.

They were so stupid. I'm 15 and I grew up with an NES. HOW DO THEY NOT KNOW IT ?!?!?

I was born in '96 I used to have a Sega (Genesis I guess dont remember), played contra 4,mario and some other games I don't even know the name now D: .. At that time I had PENTIUM 2 PC!! for me GTA 2 and NFS 4 was the only thing I used to play since I did not have enough RAM to play even CS 1.6 after 1 of my stick died... I know most kids here mostly play on their android devices,PSP and Xbox I am pretty sure they never even know about GTA:SA... I miss those old days
