Ethan: Meteor Hunter

I came accross an article from the developer describing the results of the first month after release. It's an interesting read, enough for me to grab the alpha demo and play around with it a bit.

It reminds me the most of Blocks that Matter, but with a far heavier emphasis on platforming action. Or perhaps Trine, if you play Trine using only the wizard.
It is rough around the edges and a few serious glitches (game sometimes thinks you dropped a movable object when you're still moving it. Not sure if that's because the demo is an alpha build or if the finished game still has the same issues.

But all in all, it does seem like this game deserves to sell more than it has done so far (127 copies in the first month), but the developers failed spectacularly in terms of marketing it seems (there's hardly any reviews out there etc.) So I though I'd post this to bring some more attention to it. And no, I am not in any way connected to the developer.

So if you're interested in platformers, grab the demo from the Grrenlight page, play around with it and if you like it, vote for it. Hey, at least they put in more effort in their Greenlight than most, simply by making a demo available in the first place.

TL;DR version: No, this isn't about Bad Rats. This is about a somewhat interesting game that's stuck in Greenlight hell.
