So a friend of mine wants to build a gaming laptop.

Processor (Intel i3,i5,i7, other ones are shitty), and graphic card:
either Nvidia GeForce 350 or better or ati 5650+(always look at second number when picking cards, it indicates the perfomance of the card, while first number means what new features it has/supports, like new Directx, and so on).
and also brand:
Anus is best

Well, 5650 is very decent, I have it and can play anything I want on high details :), and also 5650 is not that pricey. Not sure how much money is he willing to spend on his laptop either. But at least 5650 is minimum.
My laptop cost me around 600 €.

Oh, sure, he can go for GPU's you mentioned, but the price of the laptop will skyrocket. These are high-end GPU's.

HEXUS.net is currently giving away an MSI GE60 0ND, which is quite an impressive laptop, especially for the price ($1200 on Amazon.com). The slightly well less specced 0NC variant (NVIDIA 650M instead of 660M) is only $940 on Newegg.
