Is it ok for me to create giveaways from games @ green man gaming that are on special offer ( like 50p special birthday offers they have on )
thanks

As long as the games are not free and they come with (legit) Steam keys, anything is allowed. So in your case, yes, but make sure the games include keys (I'm not sure if all GMG games do).

Not all of them do. I've been burnt a couple of times that way. P

If it doesn't say "Steam activated" on it, somewhere, then it's not a Steam game.

It's allowed to give a game away that you have won, as long as it is not the same copy of the game that you won (since that would be regifting). So basically as long as the game is in your account you can always give out extra copies whenever you'd like.
To avoid forgetting to activate stuff, only mark as received AFTER you activate (then you are also 100% sure that it worked).

Yes, but it's not the best deal on SG. Bundled games give you really few contributor points.

It is not always about the points this site is built around giving

Not some master race for points anyone can spend money to get better games to boost points and brag about there level though i am sure some do it just to get access to better GA that is there choice and nothing wrong with it. I do it to I give back what i can because i enjoy it,
i could care less about the level if i did i would be higher then i am.I also see it as why let the keys sit around as i am not about game collection or game count either,i prefer to have games on my account i will play so i trade/GA games i do not want.

Either way bundle games or not if i win it i am just as happy if i bought it myself..

Yeah, that's some truth in here, why would you add game to library that you don't want while you can just give it away. But if you want to lvl up fast, then non bundled games make it easier :P

Yeah i am not against those that want a high level,i was just trying to say that is not a reason to still not give away games that may not offer much CV even if you want a high level as you can still also give games that give high CV.

I think most people could care less about the level and just give back because they can, giving to those in need or may be less off then you can really make your day.I can not give a lot nor really any big games as of now but i still give what i can and still enjoy it.

But keep in mind that some of the games from those bundles were already given for free (at one point or another) so you won't be able to create giveaways for them here

Yeah, the easiest way it usually to check whether SG allows you to select the game or not, before you buy it. But keep in mind that common sense is still necessary since games that have recently become free (and that you therefore should know about) are added retroactively to the list.
