Stupid DI:Epidemic Beta being given when its out of closed beta

I have 3 copies of Dead Island: Epidemic Beta which showed up after i activated DI: Riptide
Any one need a copy of these?
Post here if so and I will add you on Steam
I will only give to those who do not have a copy in their library.

EDIT: No one needs Dead island: Epidemic
EDIT 2: Apparently, activating will give you +1 to your game count

No one needs your DI: Epidemic Beta, it's not in closed beta anymore, and is F2P.

I was unaware that the gift item literally does nothing...You'd think steam would stop handing them out since it is out of closed beta..
I will find a trashbot for them..hopefully i can rid myself of them that way

Yea I'm not sure what the deal with those is. When DOTA 2 came out of closed beta, iir all of the beta passes were deleted.

I remember that an option was put in place to be able to delete it one's self, but i am not sure if they were automatically removed..I didn't have any left at that time..

Actually it does. It will give +1 to game count and show on library when uninstalled. (compared to just normally installing it via steam)

I got rid of my extra DI:E gifts there a couple of months ago. It should work still.

It worked fine for me when I gave it my DI:E gifts. You don't get anything in return. It's just a dumpster. It will ask you if you are sure because you aren't requesting anything back from the bot. If it isn't working for you then something has been changed in the last month.
