I have type 1 diabetes and it isn't good, have to inject myself 4 times a day, have regular blood tests and eye checks for my drivers licence .
I got it when I was 22 and I'm now 32 and still tring to come to grips with it. I mean the hassle the disease comes with, mood swings highs and lows,
Deff not a laughing matter hope u don't get it,
But signs of symptoms include
Going to the toilet ALOT ( pissing clear urine ).
Feeling always tired with no energy and drinking slot of fluid.
A normal persons blood sugar level should be between 4-8 on a normal day
Go get ur sugar level tested if ya worried lol.
I got it due to drinking about 2-5 red bulls a day basically killed my pancreas

I have diabetes type 1. I'm supposed to inject myself many times a day but I mostly don't remember. I got it 5 years ago when I was 24 I think. I'm not at all sure what caused it (Genetic disease susceptibility, a diabetogenic trigger, a high exposure to a driving antigen? No idea what those that mean.) It's possible to have both types 1 and 2 so I still have a good chance of getting the other one as well:D I'm not fat at all though, but I eat lots of sugary unhealthy stuff. From the ones beastt mentioned, my main problem is the being always tired with no energy.
Post pics of the candy!

Yes. Don't believe it when they say you can't eat sugar at all. That's exaggerating:p First I was like "oh no, now I have to eat and drink non-sugary stuff:(". But now I'm like "bring on the ice cream and candy". Moderation is the key really. As long as the blod sugar stays normal I don't think there's a problem. For me it doesn't though:D The biggest effect in well-being happens when eating sugar makes the blood sugar high, then insuline makes it low, sugar makes it high again etc...those changes make me feel tired and stuff. But if the blood sugar is kept fairly constant it's not a problem.

Well don't they say that because it can worsen it? I mean sure have some once in a while but yeah you should be careful.

Damn, I rarely eat anything sweet, and when I do I can't eat alot of it, but after reading your post and imagining all those sweets I got this huge craving for it, I hate you. :(

I'm going to get diabetes,my dad brought home a shit load of candy, including 48 boxes of Milk Duds,12 King size Zero bars, bunch of Heath bars,Payday Bars,Strawberry Whoppers, and some sort of random chocolate covered raspberry and blueberry bites. So yeah,be jealous of the candy, but not of the broken jaw I will have after chewing all of these Milk Duds.
