According to Google, there is cross-play between both versions, but on the Epic version you loose access to stuff like the Steam Workshop.

I seen a screenshot from a discord where someone wrote he exploit it "infinite" and he wrote how he do it.

no, i can't. i got some error from the start. app says i should verify my email to get the key but my email is verified as well for months. i guess that error appears bcz their GA has ended,, anyway i've uninstalled it already to a devil's mother.

No clue how many keys are left tho i didnt see any indicator saying how many there are in the promotion .
