Hey, I was just wondering,

Are Dota 2 invites not able to be given away? I could not find it in the list, but I do remember that people were giving them out a couple months or so ago.

Nope they aren't, because they are free. You can just give them away in the forums, or go to the DOTA 2 bot.

Dota2 is free and common
Dota2 isn't detected normally, so is difficult is determine if it has been activated as it should
Dota2 spam was bringing the site down with the constant giveaways so removal helped load speeds.

You can give them away if you're feeling generous, but only in the forums. You won't be able to make a regular giveaway and harvest contributor points from what is essentially a freebie, that every man, his dog, and his dog's fleas all own multiple copies of.
