Last win was a year ago. I don't even win 50-100-1000 copies giveaways these days.

I had 2 suspensions if it matters.

Out of curiosity what do your stat say about your luck? You can check it here

Mostly interested in end of description of Luck per Month. It should say something like "Overall, you've been unlucky, and won 13 fewer gifts than estimated since you first joined."

At level 0 you have very slim chances to win anything, as you are competing with thousands of other members in each giveaway. Try increasing your CV a bit to have better chances.

create acc for your sister/brother, create private giveaway and share the link with nobody -> you will be the only one who enters the giveaway so you will win it! and the best: you can create giveaways for every game you want and as much as you want! so in one week you can get everything on steam and even every other game as well

having more than one account is forbidden, so please dont do this^^

You have been a SG user for well over a year... with one giveaway that is worth 0 CV, plus you're showing less than 3,000 giveaway entries. Most people have entered more than that and never won once. I suggest that you enter more giveaways and be less picky about the games you're trying to win, and try contributing more than you have to raise your CV level if you want to increase your chances. I would also make your Steam profile public and sync it to SG to avoid winning games you already have.
EDIT: You may also want to consider joining the Unlucky 7 Steam group. Be sure to read the group's criteria to see if you would qualify as a member.

BTW, complaining about not winning anything will more than likely get you blacklisted around here. Just saying.

You will see results (i.e. more wins) by being smart, investing time and/or money into SG.

Being smart:

  • Join groups. Search the Group Recruitment thread. Some groups are continuously recruiting (Unlucky-7, Playing Appreciated), some are open and can be joined by anyone, some have more stringent criteria (e.g. minimum level, not be a leach, do regular group giveaways).

  • Do puzzles. Follow the Puzzle thread. Some puzzles are more complicated than others (requiring a time investment), some are simply completing a jigsaw puzzle, some are 'hidden' in plain sight and quite easy to find once you know what you are looking for.

  • Read giveaway descriptions. Some users like to hide private 'invite only' giveaway links in descriptions, some advertise their own groups (see above).

  • Read the discussions. Many users when posting, especially questions, also include a private 'invite only' giveaway link.

Investing time:

  • Enter many, many, many giveaways. You get 576 points per 24 hours - use them. Your 2711 entries over 13 months is fewer than 7 giveaways entered per day. If you think about it a giveaway with 1000 entries (typical for Level 0), means you would have to enter 1000 similar giveaways to have an even chance of winning. You've won 2 games, which seems about right.

Investing money:

  • Level up. At the very least try to get to Level 1 by successfully giving away a game that has not been given away for free in the past (this is why your single giveway has not raised your level). This is not expensive - there are sites where you can buy keys to giveaway for pennies.

  • Join more groups. Many groups have either a minimum level requirement (typically level 3 or above), or a won/sent ratio requirement, and require you to maintain a won/sent ratio within the group, or make regular (e.g. monthly) giveaways. If you do this, you will be exposed to giveaways that have fewer than 50 entries, massively increasing you chances.

  • SG is like a pyramid scheme - the more money (games) you invest, the more you can take out (win).

If it isn't painfully obvious by now, remaining Level 0 really works against you. Look at the site stats - 900k users at level 0, 108k at level 1 and 17k at level 2.

Your top priority is getting to Level 1, and joining the Unlucky 7 group. I went 15 months without a win (I wasn't very active after joining), and within 3 months of joining Unlucky-7 I had my 7 wins.

I'm level 5 which is not great but kinda okay, it gives me extra chances to win higher level giveaways. but no, I'm just as unlucky as you. almost a year since my last and all my wins are from a group that has few entries.

Many ppl keep saying you have higher chances of winning with higher level. That is not exactly right

Every person that enters giveaway have exact same chance of winning

What changes with level, is that you have access to giveaways that have less entries

which is where the higher chance of winning comes from.....

Try giving away games so you can enter higher level giveaways.
I dont bother entering non-wishlisted giveaways below level 5. Chances to win are almost zero

With almost all the good games being reduced value, reaching even level 5 will take like 700-800 dollars. At this point it's easier to just go and buy all your games by yourself, and pretend you've won them.
IMO that system should be reworked, if ga creator can provide proof he bought the game full-price it should give full value. At current state it discourages from sharing great games only because they were in some bundle nobody cared about 5 years ago.

A system like that would be abused a lot.
Also most people that give away games don't care about level, it's just for the sake of giving away games. since usually giveaways are for games they didn't want but were on a bundle they liked.

How could it be abused? You would have to link bank receipt from same date as date when you acquired game you're gifting.

Don't you think that SG is for giving game in charity style, not for Profit?

Yet Mallorn suggests doing it for levels, which is why I'm saying it will take 833 dollars just to reach level he suggest, which is far from viable.

Well, as oldwoman Shapoklyak from soviet cartoon said, you have to put something somewhere to get something from somewhere. Or, if you prefer anime, same philosophy was described in Full Metal Alchemist - to get something you have to give something with same value.

  1. If your goal is to get as much value out of the site as possible for the least amount of money, don't give anything and enter everything.
  2. If your goal is to get access to the best giveaways on the site, be popular and raise your level.
  3. If your goal is to give stuff away, give whatever you have whenever you can afford to do so.

The first option is the cheapest, but the other two give much better results. Do whichever sounds most fun to you.

your level 0. my first day on this site i posted a giveaway. and every giveaway i have done since then has been lvl 1+ as i dont want to feed the Leach's, you can spend $1 on a bundle and get to lvl 1 and increase your chances of winning greatly and contribute to the sg community at the same time.

1- Give something else. Even small games bought with cards money will count to level 1.
2- look after Playing Appreciated. Is a group were you have to play your wins, so people only enters if are interested in the game.

Is your Steam account limited (especially hard for us to tell with you setting it to private)? If not, then all you need to do to up your chances significantly is to sell a few cards, get enough to give away some game on sale, and BAM, you're automatically level 1 on here and you can access GAs with, comparatively, extremely better chances.

Some people are lucky. Some are unlucky.

I won many games, but if I could choose I'd rather win a game that I really, realy want (Like PUBG) instead of winning games that I kinda wanted but ar enot as exciting.

Do not expect much... for example i won in 6 years just 25 games but here are others who won in 3 years 254 games...
any talking how or why is pointless. Try join some groups but i cant give u advice which ones... personally i pretty dont like groups where u MUST give this and that to this date in this and that price range etc etc...
make some contributor level at least 3-4 it might help little bit.. but soon u realise that it not worth to keep entering, i clicking here some GA's for 6 months for nothing :D
better chances are on high/er contributor levels 6 7 8 and some groups, free 4 all or lvl 1 2 3 GA's are 000000000000000000000,1% chance

Joining groups and getting on whitelists are the best way to win things. So be a positive part of the community and give away games so that you can be put on those lists and have a much better chance at winning.

Other than that, it's just luck. Suspensions will only restrict you if you try to enter certain sgtools or if someone blacklists you.

good luck!

Edt: I just noticed you qualify for the Unlucky 7 group. You should join and you'll have a fighting chance!
