What are youre thoughts about no mans sky now?
I think with all the hype around NMS, it was bound to disappoint. I had only mild interest in it leading up to the release, and even less now.

Yeah, it's decent with all the updates adding vehicles, bases, etc... But any game can be better over time with updates so I don't know... It does feel like they should have added all these before releasing in the first place.

I can't give my thoughts on No Man's Sky because I still don't own it and there are very few giveaways for it.
My odds of winning anything are usually really low.

I've had it wishlisted for quite a while, removed it after hearing the fuss, readded it.
It looks really good, the features sound good, but I can't give an opinion on something I haven't played myself.
I don't see it being worse than these two Early Access good games turned into released piles of shit. (Starbound & LEGO Worlds)

As for NMS, I missed the hype for it, only found out about it after it was released, when the hate started flowing. Frankly, the devs brought it upon themselves by promising way more than they could deliver. Reminds me of this guy named Peter...

Well it was just real bad pr as it was 1 guy on the whole team that said most of those things but they did stay silent for a month after release.

I remember watching a video about it. I gathered that the main problem was a lack of courage, mainly on the part of the guy doing the interviews, as he would just say yes to whatever anyone asked. But the rest of the team share the blame for just standing idly and letting him do it and never saying anything publicly to lower expectations.

It goes beyond just what was promised. I was in a similar situation where I only looked into the game after people started hating on it. Then someone gifted me the game so I tried it out myself. As someone who went into the game with no hype and no expectations, I can say that it is not a good game. It just has no depth or content that makes it any fun at all =/
