Is S.T.A.L.K.E.R Worth buying?

Tell me because i actually never played the game or heard of it,but i heard alot of good rumors about it.

So what should i do,it's on sale right now.

It's a great game, if you can get it to work bug free, which is harder than it sounds.
Last time i checked, STALKER Complete mod helped, but there were a couple of big problems left.

all in all, great concept for a game, poor programming, i wouldn't waste any money on it..
