The best thing is about the GOG version, is that even though you got it in the insomnia sale, it's still cheap there at full price.
If you have fond memories of Duke Nukem 3D and never got Blood, then get it now. Please.
Probably steer clear of the sequel though. It isn't quite as good...

Fucking awesome game, one of the first PC games I played, and that was like 15 years ago. When you get bored of the levels go here: http://blood.nanoaugur.net/ and get a huge map pack :D

Well, I'll see it myself, but now I feel better about buying it too. Thanks.

You guys both need to play some SHOGO. It's freaking hysterical, and it's one of the best oldie shooters out there. They also said they'll be bringing that one back one day, but it was on the PS2 and not even a word since... Ah well, it wouldn't be the same as the old seeing the industry standards now, so it's not that great of a tragedy.

And it is amazing. I though it was overrated when I heard about it, but it really is great. I love the level design, the voice acting is amazing, and the combat and weapons are creative and great. The atmosphere is really nice as well, and the difficulty is scaled just right to the five difficulty settings, which a lot of games nowadays and even back then had a bit of trouble with. I played about 6-9 hours of DN3D, and I thought BLOOD would be very similar to that in almost every way, which it is not that I didn't enjoy DN3D, it just bored me after a while. BLOOD, however, is great! This is probably my favorite build engine game and I would 100% recommend it. I think that anyone who thinks it is just "overrated" should think again, like I did. Pick this up!
