Do you hide giveaways?

But you have a giveaway sooooooooo I guess it's okay.
I filtered 205 games, just stuff I don't care about or games I own for the 360.

I knew about it but the title didn't really help me finding it. :D

So far around 500, I think. At first I was like enter everywhere, but now I try to stick with games that I might actually enjoy, or titles that I wanted to check but never was sure about buying them (like Shattered Haven - in theory it looked good for me but in reality... ;/).
Also games that I have on GOG or other platforms.
And I have to mention that by doing it this way I have more points for cool GAs :D
I also hide all GAs above my level. Not the same thing, but still hiding

I think we all go through that process or at least we should. At first I entered everything that was about to end and when I had 2 points left I looked for games I could spend them on or when games seemed to have high chances of winning. Now I'm extremely picky about what to enter and I always have at least 250 - 300 points at all times.

Exactly. I think (or more likely I hope) that more people will go through that. It's kinda sad that after a merely three weeks here I have already saw few threads and comments about 'shty' games that some complaining people have won. In moments like that I always wonder Why did you enter a GA then?

Yeah, at first it's the sensation of winning, but as soon as you create giveaways and know what is behind all those giveaways you start to carefully pick what you enter. I know what you are talking about. Winning games to sell the trading cards, eh? I used up all my rage already, I am not suprised by any of this anymore.

I click the silver button on the top right that says "Account". Then I click the "giveaways" button on the left. Shows on the bottom of that page.

It makes using the site much easier. When searching for a game, there are two buttons to the right of the name of the game. One goes to the steam store page for the game and the other will bring up a window and ask if you want to hide the game so you never see any giveaways for that game in your search again. You can always remove games from this list if you want them to show up again.

I use to use steamgifts plus before they updated the site. I don't see a use for it anymore.

Hi,
Just curious if SteamGifts users are even using the "hide this giveaway" function or try to enter as much as possible? Personally since I played lots of bit-pixel games during C64 era, I usually hide them. Or the Steam Subs that I own every item on it since SG shows it anyway. So if you use this feature what's your count?
Small L2GA
Thx
Edit: Sorry for topping at 500 since I didn't think there will be many users passing that limit
