Cool, but... no Win XP support, less number of cars, no old vehicle tuning before race, bad physics, and more. Many reviewers say it's just not original 2.0, but some kind of port from moblie devices. Unity engine btw.
Original game was amazing, it's sad that probably this is only imitation.

I was so happy until I saw your description list. Why did you destroy my hopes like that?

I loved playing that game on the PS1. Still one of my favourite Rally games along with Richard Burns, but all I own now is Dirt and WRC stuff.

Pity, never found a good rally driving game or at least one that felt right.

Give Richard Burns Rally a try.

And after you wrap your car around the first tree, try it again while slowing at corners.

but "in those days" RBR was too difficult for me, it's hardcore game.

btw - Colin HD on Metacritic and yep, this come to us from iOS. :(

Still i have somewhere one or two phisical copy of 2.0, but unlike "HD version" original one does not support Vista, 7, 8... anyway, maybe it's time to get back to the good ol days? :>

Yeah, it was a little difficult for me coming from the more arcade Colin McRae Rally 2. Hence the mention of the tree. Personal experience. :P

Used to play this with my dad back in the day. I think it's even still installed onto the computer with the disc lying near for when someone feels the urge again. I remember spending hours and hours just to beat his times, doing the same track over and over for sometimes more than a 100 times to get it right. Good times indeed, never found a racing game that managed to pull me in as much again.

Three rallies? Four cars? Why does Corsica on the trailer look like Italy? Why does the cockpit camera look worse than in original CMR2.0?

BTW, does the original CMR2 work on Win7 64bit? I'm asking, because I still have original CD somewhere, and after seeing that "remastered" abomination I want to play original 2.0 again, but will it work?

Generally does not work with Windows ;) like V/7/8. I had such a problem with Vista as well. There are some updates/fixes, but it does not always work...
