Actually it was never down, SteamDB used API for app prices that didn't report prices for bundles. It was removed by Valve and SteamDB moved to newer api that supports bundles too.

weird enough there's a global bundle pack that's always available according to Steamdb, but I remember checking on it a few times before and there were no buying options

From a functional point of view it's much better to get older titles on GOG, rather than Steam. I get the fact that people prefer to have all stuff in a single library, but 1st and foremost the title needs to run properly. Also just remembered that some older titles using CD Audio tracks for music are missing the music entirely on Steam, while on GOG they included everything.

$5 for a 2decades + game seems kind of expensive to me...

What about old Activision titles? I mean some are good games indeed, but the prices are ridiculous.

yeah.. seems best way is to emulate. The old devs ain't getting the money its just the greedy publishers... so why not

Do you think there's a chance that they didn't know or misremembered due to nostalgia?

I'm hoping for a re-release on GOG or on Steam so more people remember it
