Brisbane makes you what... 10 hours ahead of me? I hope you're sleeping well right now ;-)
That time difference between Germany and the eastern part of Australia will kill me next Summer. I'll try to watch most games of the FIFA Women's World Cup, but those 10 hours are very inconvinient w/r/t to my sleeping / working hours.

Thanks for the detailed answer. That ain't close in any way, kind or shape, that distance is about twice the length of Germany from north to south.
An eight hour difference isn't much better, but let's see if I can manage to take some vacation days for the games during the week.
At least Germany will play all their games in eastern(ish) Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney), not Perth or even New Zealand.
