Outer Worlds 2: price and Thread deletions

Just got banned in record time from the Outer Worlds 2 steam forums for discussing the $80 price tag. They are deleting any and all threads that are talking bad about the pricing. Anyone else experiencing this? EDIT... SORRY FOR GETTING EVERYONES HOPES UP FOR THE OUTER WILDS 2!

Bad look on top of a bad look.

A game about anti-corporatism, price gouging at $80, and they are indeed deleting pricing posts.

That's a real shame.

*And they've now restored all the deleted threads. That was a quick turnaround.

anti-corporatism but M$ owns Obsidian afterall. I assume 80$ pricing works for them in the sense that they will drop it day 1 on game pass anyway and watch subscriber numbers grow(not cause of this one game but because of constant non stop quality titles dropping day1)

While I agree the push is to get people to subscribe to Gamepass, I don't think any of their other announced Gamepass ready games are $80.

Well that's pretty typical of the entertainment industry really. You have the people making the games(/movies/tvshows) about capitalism choking out humanity and then you have the capitalist corporation trying to make a buck out of it and while they're at it, let's make 80...

My brain auto-correct outer worlds to outer wilds, so I would have been falsely snared by this discussion either way.

Did you comment on existing thread or made new one? Because I can only assume that getting 20 "omg 80€/$" threads per hour gets bit spammy.
However ban is kinda unjustified way to handle it. I've had comments simply deleted without any slap on finger by steam mods (I linked demo in next fest news...guess that counts as "advertising" lol)

No such backlash for new Doom which was also 80€. But hey, it was $70 and this one is $80, so that's the main problem it seems...
