Tomb Raider - yay or nay?

Decent game, but nothing amazing and nowhere near GOTY material like everyone makes it out to be. It looks and sounds gorgeous and the gameplay is pretty smooth, but it's just like every other "epic" game that comes out to market now. They sacrifice pure gameplay for cinematics. There are quicktime events out the ass, and there are so many sequences where Lara is sliding down the side of a mountain or waterway that they could have subtitled it Lara's Slip n' Slide and it would have been completely accurate. The puzzles are easy as hell, as is the combat. The voice acting is great, but the story itself is kinda crappy, and I feel that the whole
"omg lara is become a killer!" thing would have worked a lot better if you weren't gunning down guys like it's black friday at walmart right after they show how much of a toll it's taking on her. Honestly, I feel like I would've enjoyed it more if it had any semblance of a challenge to it. That said, if you can get it for $5, go for it.

If you want boobs instead of gameplay, then yay...
