Is this an alright graphics card? UPDATE! Again!

Is this an alright graphics card? I plan on getting it in a few hours but I'm not sure if its worth it. I want to play modern games atleast medium settings without lag. It comes with Far Cry 3,Hitman Absolution,Nexuiz and Sleeping Dogs so I guess thats a hint that it can play these games fine. If not,any other recommendations? I'm on a $120 budget so....

Definitely buy a 7770 not a 7750, there are plenty on Newegg for around or just under $120.

I was about to post Compass's link, that's the card you should buy on your budget.

I have a 7770 and it runs Game great. Although if you are going to be running at High res then don't expect great things from it.

In that case I guess that 7750 is your best option.

I'm not sure what its performance is like though, you would have to look up benchmarks.

A 7850 is a solid card for not that much more. Worth it. And you can easily XFire it when you need more performance, so it will last awhile.

I have a 7850 just laying next to my system because my PSU died, so, I'm using my nephews PSU and 7750.. The 7750 isn't a bad card at all.. It packs a hell of a punch for it's price.

I haven't played much using the 7850, but I've had the 7750 for over a year and I could play Skyrim on high with AA on 2 or 4 depending on what texture mods I had installed. I was also able to play Farcry 3 on med-high settings.

I have a 7850 aswell, Sapphire 2gb OC version, dual cooler and extremely cool & silent.
Can handle anything I throw it, even using tesselation and AA filters.
Use max native reso 1680x1050 which isn't even full HD.

Wouldn't recommend buying anything lower (as model and hardware leveñ) than this. No use going up either; just a waste of money

Pretty much all the AMD cards have a faster memory bandwidth than their NVidia equivalent, in addition to more RAM and better overclocking capabilities. The only advantage NVidia has it some games are made to favor NVidia as well as PhysX.

+1 fpr the hd 7770
much better than a hd 7750 and still better (but close) and cheaper than the 550 ti.
not just saying this because i am getting a hd 7770 in about 2 weeks xD
