That's the great thing about android. Just drag down the top of the screen and you can see the message without having "read" it, so if it's someone you'd rather ignore, they'll never know! Magnificent!

I can check my mails at home, and at work. I dont need to check them while i am traveling, If somebody want something, he can call me.

And thats the point, many people need to be able to check them often.
Managing alot of stuff while you aren't at home on your phone is very useful. Well I don't know if you work but if you do you should relate to that kinda.

I don't think that he is against people owning smartphones. What he wants to say (to my understanding) is that he doesn't need all the features today's smartphones offer. It's not that he can't understand why people use them
I can understand him because I myself don't own one and don't feel the need to get one. As long as my phone can call and receive calls I am satisfied :)

and gaming, use teamspeak on smart phone while your in the kitchen making food when others think your still in the game or on the toilet "if they hear a long drop bang, just reply that was a No.2 Nuke lol" or while your chilling chatting to others while smoking bong!. so many convenient things you can do with it. even use it while i cook, look up recipes as easy as 1.2.3!

I use my phone as game console, office, multimedia, navigation etc. Talking is the least used function in my case. :) But that is individual :D I have friends like you. Just talking and SMS stuff.

That's not what I mean. I have an artist in mind that could do this but very detailed tattos will look blurry and dissolved after a few years.
