Winning a giveaway but code is already used

Hello,
So yesterday i won my first giveaway but when i got the code, steam said that it is a duplicate. What can i do now?

mark it as "not received" or try to talk with the guy that made the giveaway. He may have sent you the wrong code.

Email the gifter back and tell him that. If he doesn't replace it within 7 days from when the giveaway ended, mark it as not received.
