As the title says :) how many of you remember playing Abe's Oddysee or Exodus when you were growing up? I played them both when i had the PS one and still to this day love how amazing the game is :D Great story, lots of farts and "hey, Follow me's." above all it was a great platformer for its time and had a good mix of challenging and simple puzzles
I cant remember the countless times i had died trying to get past some sections and puzzles in the game. I remember going parts at a time when i had to actually stop playing cause some of the puzzles made me so mad, (example:those damn Slig Locks, never fully understood those till i got older) eventually after leaving and coming back i was able to move on. :) This game left me with a love hate relationship towards it cause i always wanted to find out what was next, but sometimes had to wait a long time to progress at all haha.
I really loved that this game had some WTF moments. I would have to say that some of the WTF moments would have been somehow barely escaping a enemy or just barely getting missed by a trap of some kind. Its the kind of thing that made you go Whew and have a short moment of celebration :D the kind of thing that was like "I couldn't do that again even if i tried"
For those of you that have never played it and have the need to think about getting it from the humble bundle I'd certainly recommend it. Whether its for you reliving some nostalgia like me or just playing it for the first time you cant go wrong. Especially seeing how many platform games that have been released since then and have been crap in my opinion. you cant go wrong for a dollar. The Duke Nukem and Shadow warrior are also classic pieces but that's not what this post is about :D Abe gets some loving this time Duke :P
