I got scammed

So i was trading my Sleeping Dogs game for Borderlands 2. We are trading keys not gifts. So when we are trading he gave me a wrong key. He told me he lost the key. He said hes gonna buy me ze game tommorow. When i woke up, He blocked me. Am i stupid ? or is there a way to make him pay for what he did, like get BANNED ? Nevermind , its my birthday. Its like giving away a game to an asshole.

If you can get enough proof he will be marked as a scammer so other people won't trade with him.
