Help with giveaway

okay so i want to giveaway this game "Warhammer® 40,000: Dawn of War® II Chaos Rising" link http://store.steampowered.com/app/20570/
since the support doesn't help i wanted to know why doesn't appear on the list, this game was free or what??? why i can't select it?

I don't know if it was intentionally removed, but if it was, then my guess is it's because of an exploit that was possible during the free weekend - DoW1, all of its expansions, base DoW2 and Chaos Rising each have a license key (leftover from before the games used Steam) and you could basically use them to get free copies. I don't know if keys from that exploit are still possible to activate.

if its not possible, i would suggest to give it away in the forum... you will get no level for it, but if you want to make someone happy, it would be a solution... you could also trade it with someone, who wants the game and get a game for it, you can create a ga

Doesn't matter - the gift/key option is there only for the benefit of the giveaway creator, latter being there just to put the keys directly in the site. It's not forbidden to pick "gift" option in the GA and then choosing to send a key, considering that a) it doesn't really make a difference in the end and b) there is no way to check if that's what happened.
I assume support won't let you make a giveaway if you show them a proof that you have a gift copy in your inventory, but you can try asking them anyway. Worst case scenario, you could try what keksinator7 said and trade it for something of approximately the same value.

This last weekend it was exploitable.

Find 'Dawn of War GOTY' in your library & click on it

On the right hand side under 'Links' click on 'CD Key'

Click 'Copy Key to Clipboard'

Activate the key on Steam

Note: It also seems to work with Dawn of War II & Chaos Rising
