Pathologic 2 is a kickstarted reimagining of the original Pathologic you may of heard of via places like GOG. This is a spare key I got via a humble choice bundle, and I haven't yet dug my own copy out of my backlog, so I can't tell you what to really expect. The original (which I also didn't play) is regarded as a divisive and weird gem, with a whole lot of slow walking and a vague sense of grind, but played more akin to Shenmue where time was essentially a major enemy to you, as you could only do so much at a time, and while everything is changing, it's possible to miss interesting events or lock yourself out of interactions, making multiple playthroughs (or savescumming) a thing.

I imagine this game will be just as divisive, though more polished and easier to get into. I remember that the developers apologised in the kickstarter as they planned to have all three characters (all three stories) available at launch, but ended up only releasing one of them. I don't know if the others have been patched in. STILL, worth a look for those who don't mind theatrically odd symbolism and bizarre spiritual plagues and such.

Give it (and maybe the original's HD remake) a peep on the steam store before you enter, just to make sure this is your kind of flavour. If not, you could save your points and let someone else be happier with a win ;)
