I myself have not given it a shot yet but it is definitely an interesting looking game.
I'm not sure if you've tried it, but it's a similar style of game; Divinity Original Sin II is absolutely fantastic. The amount of depth to the world, the story, and the many different paths you can take to finish (or to not finish) quests and questlines is just fantastic.
