Nah, he doubled the price of the 1070 in his picture and cut the RX price. I am curious if the AMD card can catch up in it's performance and such though. Especially compared to the insane jump the 1080 made when compared to it's predecessors. Technology has come so far o_o
That's true, but I meant to compare to 8GB with an 8GB. I didn't really specify though so that's my bad. Seeing the bench marks for the 480 today I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. It's not bad, but I guess I was just hoping for something spectacular like when the 1080 came out. Considering the huge jump in technology I mean. It's definitely not bad for someone on a low budget though. Especially someone who doesn't play the big AAA games at max graphics. It'll definitely be something I recommend to those wanting to build a budget computer.

I agree, performance below R9 390X is a bit disappointing. Hopefully custom boards overclock well, I'm not interested in reference anyway.
