It's called Check Vs Mate in the US, and Battle Vs Chess everywhere else. They're treated as separate apps for some reason

Because The DLC is for Battle vs Chess( https://store.steampowered.com/app/211050/Battle_vs_Chess/ )not for Check vs Mate (https://store.steampowered.com/app/211070/Check_vs_Mate/) 211050 and 211070 are different, they are two games, u can own the two games in your steam account at the same time. https://imgur.com/XLb79rM
