Beat the game my self and I think that while it is a good game indeed - it is really overrated.

Lack of weapon diversity, poor enemy design (that are mainly damage-sponges) and, as result, not dynamic and very boring fightings. By mid game fighting was like a chore. And taking into account blant backtracking without map and limited fast-travel... With respawning mobs... It felt really annoying. And level design (while really nice in graphics) was repetative. And story/narrative was very promissing, but did not live up to expectations. The whole Frog King's Domain felt like "Guys, our game is too short! We made more uninterestin fighting but we need something bigger!" in terms of how it integrated in story.
In general game felt to me like it has a lot of fillers to make it longer at the expense of fun. By the end I was tired and bored.

Fair points. In that case I might not enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. The general blandness and backtracking are especially disappointing, seeing as they have put so much effort and love into the graphical presentation. I really like the aesthetics of the game, but if the gameplay cannot live up to it, I can absolutely relate to being left underwhelmed.
