Hint 3: There are three types of characters that can be found in a giveaway code: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numerals. I have used a different method to "hide" each type.

hmmm... I kinda messed up by necro-ing and bringing up your Cakeday.
I was casually reading some old thread when I came upon your Cakeday reminder and thought to myself- 'hey, that's Droj's Cakeday... he's a cool cat. I should drop a word.' But instead of commenting on one of your GAs I saw your last year's thread and thought- perfect!
Perfect mistake more like. It didn't even occur to me until I saw the thread re-bumped in discussions and spilled hot coco everywhere. By then it was too late... so I thought I might as well leave my comment there.

No worries! It was fun waking up to so many notifications and no one seems to be mad. Plus it reminded me I haven't made a puzzle in way too long and gave me an idea of where to start!
