bots don't read :S might want to enact some sort of anti-bot measures next time, i.e. replacing certain characters with special characters and providing the key to be sure, i already have the game, but just thought to give that advice, because apparently there are tons of bots swarming everything having to do with Steam, always skimming for keys posted without some sort of encryption
also thanks for the gib :) this assumes the key to have already been taken, idk but again, just thought to bring that to your attention
Thanks for the heads-up! In the past, keys have lasted for several hours when I did this, but things could have changed since then. Better to be safe - will make sure to do this next time.
it's gotten to the point that people leave traps for bots in their forum posts, i.e. hiding links behind It's Too Hard puzzles, posting the answer to the puzzle quite obviously in the description, to be sure that only those who actually read can enter. i'm certain i overreacted - i didn't intend to make it sound like SG is swarming with bots though, depending on who you ask... but i just stress that the problem does exist and to beware
