Well, that's where the word "renaissance" comes from. Naissance means birth in French, renaissance being rebirth (in the case of the historical era, a rebirth of the European culture).

Absolutely, in artistic terms, the era of Leonardo da Vinci et al. I am intrigued by the second 'E' on the end though in the game title... :)

Hmm... Maybe there were so many births and rebirths that they started giving them letters so that it wouldn't be too confusing -- Naissance A, Naissance B, Naissance C...
