You might be right about the reviews. I do Let's Plays on my channel, despite everywhere I go, people say that Let's Plays, or just playthroughs, are kind of dead compared to a lot of other kind of content you could make. So you might have better luck doing reviews, but I really wouldn't know.

I don't know how your setup is at the moment, or how long you've been doing this, but if you want to fiddle with your audio, the first thing I'd do is record to different audio tracks, so you can edit one or the other as you need. Game audio on one channel for instance, and your voice on another. That way you can edit game audio without changing your voice recording, and vice versa.

I don't think you should worry about being boring, but I completely understand why you would. I used to worry about it all the time myself. But people will subscribe to your channel, because they like what you do.

But you have a point with language. If you're not super comfortable with English, maybe Spanish would be better for you. But who knows, I'm sure there's a market out there for long videos with no commentary as well. I guess it all just depends on how quickly you want to grow. I always told myself that I'll grow my channel however I want, not what YouTube or the algorithm thinks is best. but of course, we all want to see those subscriber numbers go up..
