I have been enjoying this game alot the past 2 weeks since i bought it so i decided to make a givaway of this amazing game.

I will Gift the winner throught steam and hopefully whoever wins will enjoy it as much as i do.

How does this work in regards to the fact this game is a monthly subscription instead of pay-to-own?

From the Steam store page:

Notice: Includes 30 days of free game time for all newly created service accounts.
Monthly subscription required to play.
The NA version of FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online Starter Edition will require a North American Square Enix Account to play.

So basically, it will be in your Steam library even if you let the subscription run out and it becomes unplayable (until you renew your subscription).
