I just read on the forum about Because We May, an indie game sale that will happen on several services, including Steam. One of the games offered is NyxQuest, a game I bought a pack of once, and still have a copy to share. So here's your chance to win it before it goes on sale.

I'm also planning to give away quite a few games on my Facebook page (where I post hardware giveaways I come across) when I get 500 likes (currently at 484). I thought I'd stay away from advertising and get the fans to bring more people in, but since the coming sale prompted me to make this giveaway, I might as well mention it.

While I'm at it, might as well mention some Kickstarter projects I would like to see some more support for.

• Jane Jensen's Kickstart project has ended, but it's still possible to get the rewards when paying with PayPal on her site, so you can still help make the new adventure game from Gabriel Knight's creator even better. Total is about $440,000 now, including PayPal, and getting to $450,000 will ensure more dialogue and a live orchestra for the music.
• Spate is a beautiful 2D platformer that doesn't ask for a lot of money, and I think is worth supporting.
• Zombie-Based Learning: Geography taught in Zombie Apocalypse is not a game, but geography taught through a zombie apocalypse setting. I think that anyone trying to make school more interesting is worthy of some support.
