If you like roguelikes to any degree (and even if you dont.) DoomRL is a pretty great small (and free) game with a handful of unlockable game modes and difficulties. The current version has both an ASCII and a Graphical version and plays almost exactly like a turnbased top-down game of Doom/Doom2 with additional rpg and strategy elements. The inclusion of authentic doom sounds really helps too. Both fun and challenging.

Alternatively if platformers are more your thing theres Spelunky classic (free / non steam version) of course if you've not heard of that you've probably been living under a rock for a few years. The classic version still plays and feels great. Arguably better in some ways. Before steam got flooded with really poor indie games, we had lots and lots of freebies out there which were great time sinks. As for what you might play when you're streaming.. that totally depends on what you like and what your followers probably enjoy too.
