They key worked. It said "for beta testing" but at least for now it activated the game so thanks :)

This is normal, some devs do this but never revoke the beta-test key. If he does revoke it, you can contact me directly and I'll find a way to resolve it, but since this key was given directly by the dev, I don't think anything will happen.
